A Media Library for Innovation and Development in CameroonLibraries Without Borders is pleased to announce the organization’s plan to establish MediYa, a new media library in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
MediYa is a re-imagined media library designed to expand access to information and culture while cultivating economic development in Cameroon. By combining library services with revenue generating services, MediYa will promote economic and cultural exchange while being financially sustainable. By supporting entrepreneurship, education, innovation, and training, MediYa will surely be the library of the future.
MediYa will feature a media library, a multimedia center, auditoriums and conference rooms, a business center, and restaurants.
