Reducing Inequalities in France

In addition to its efforts in developing countries, Libraries Without Borders is active in industrial countries in Europe, like France, where significant inequalities in access to knowledge and education persist.

The public for its part remains largely unaware of the difficulty of accessing knowledge in the Global South.

These two observations have led BSF to act in France to combat illiteracy, support access to reading among marginalized populations and promote children’s education.
