We always need the following roles for short-term international work:
- Librarians and Archivists
- IT Specialists – Administrative and Systems Support
- Activity Leaders and Organizers
These short-term missions may involve:
- Conducting trainings
- Monitoring and Evaluation (pre and post-implementation)
- Maintenance and technical monitoring

CRITERIA AND CONDITIONS
Diplomas and Experience
All volunteers must have a firm grasp of the technical skills associated with their specialty (e.g. appropriate education and professional experience, as well as a minimum of 2 years of volunteer experience). This background is critical to adequately support our local teams.
Foreign Language Requirements
For many of these missions, written and oral proficiency in French is essential. Native speakers or individuals fluent in other widely spoken languages or local dialects are highly preferred (e.g. English, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese).
Frame of Mind
Libraries Without Borders is looking for individuals who are dynamic and can quickly adapt to changing situations while maintaining respect for the culture of our host countries. We want individuals who are firm believers for our programs.
Commitment
A commitment of 2 to 4 weeks is required.
