Digital Travellers

With Digital Travellers (Les Voyageurs du Numérique in Europe), Libraries Without Borders in France uses citizen engagement and volunteering to introduce and teach digital technology and coding to young people throughout France, Belgium and beyond.

The mastery of digital technology and of different programming languages are today central issues, and ensure that our children are not just digital consumers but also citizens who can use digital technology in a creative and enlightened way.

Everywhere, local introductory clubs are flourishing, offering new tools for understanding our increasingly digital daily life and giving those who are the most motivated the instruction needed for them to have possible professional futures in coding.

Since 2015, more than 80 coding clubs have been created all over France and Belgium, in libraries, recreational centers, schools, associations and companies.
