Targeted Training

This technology risks becoming a luxury beyond the reach of the less fortunate, pushing them further outside the boundaries of the global knowledge economy and creating a new digital divide.

For residents of regions where infrasture and connectivity are limited, tools like Chat GPT are often inaccessible. Moreover, language models (LLM), trained from languages available on the web, are not adapted to the diversity of languages and cultures in a vast part of the world.
In an op-ed published by the newspaper Le Monde, LWB and its partner Pleias pleaded for equitable access to artificial intelligence in service of empowerment for everyone.

In Senegal

We are creating an LLM with a customizable interface and personalized content to help the teachers improve their level of french thus promote the success of their students.

In Nigeria

We collaborate with the Mukwege Foundation to make the « Red Line » guide more accessible and easier to navigate which aims to raise awareness and apply international law to improve support for survivors of sexual violence in conflicts.

In Cote d’Ivoire and Senegal

The social entreprise Kajou, created by LWB , provides offline access to a medical knowledge base and a chatbot for personalized patient care by community health workers.

At the LWB Lab

We integrate AI in the methodes of selecting, adaptating, and creating content to support our impact on beneficiaries with tailored resources.
