OUR ACTIONS

Libraries as a Refuge for Escape and Rebuilding

In Moldova, BSF and its partners deployed Ideas Boxes and Ideas Cubes in 2022 to support populations displaced by the war in Ukraine. Installed in schools and reception facilities, our tools enabled both adults and children to recharge, familiarize themselves with the language and culture of their host country, access information to assert their rights, and facilitate their integration, particularly in housing and employment.

Coping with Natural and Man-Made Disasters

In the rural region of Anenii Noi, we support libraries in becoming places of resilience and training for local communities facing the growing risks of natural and man-made disasters.
